LeBron Raymone James Sr. - born 30 December 1984 is an professional American basketball player. James is known as King James and is considered to be one of the greatest basketball players of all time. James has won four NBA Championships, Four NBA MVP Awards and the four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He has also won two Olympic Gold medals. James is the NBA All-Star with most points in playoffs, with the second most points in his career total, and seventh-highest assists total in his career. James has been the NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, which is a record. He was also selected to the NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. He's played in the ten NBA Finals the third most all time including eight consecutively between 2011 and the year 2018. James was selected for the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. He was one of the few NBA player to earn 10,000 career points. James was a student at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron in Ohio. He was hailed by national media as the next NBA superstar. He was a top pick for the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the first pick of the NBA draft in 2003. He was named the NBA player of the year for 2004. Then he was one of the premier athletes of the NBA, winning an NBA MVP Award in 2009 and 2010. After failing to win the championship Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent in order to become a member of with the Miami Heat this was announced in the television program The Decision and is among the most controversial free agent decisions ever made in the history of sports.
